Success Factors for managing IT risk and compliance
Many companies are faced with a number of key challenges in regards to their IT risk and compliance (IT GRC) initiatives, ranging from duplicated compliance information, redundant and highly manual activities, lack of IT risk visibility, and high costs. A unified approach to IT risk and compliance can help to solve many of these problems, because it can help to simplify compliance processes, establish consistency across the organization, and improve decision-making by enhancing visibility to key IT risks. These benefits, though, require careful planning, and the involvement of a cross-organizational team in order to promote a successful deployment. Join Peter Stapleton, Director of GRC Product Management at CA for a discussion of the challenges and benefits of a unified approach to IT GRC. He will present guidelines that can help to ensure success in these types of projects. In addition, you will hear from Rob Zanella, the VP of IT Compliance at CA, about a recent major internal initiative to completely redesign our IT compliance infrastructure. Rob will highlight the process he followed, and the very substantial benefits that his team was able to achieve.
